Honeycomb
High strength-to-weight core
Structural honeycomb core delivering exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. Ideal for architectural facades and large-span applications.

The story
Nature spent 300 million years perfecting hexagonal structure. We borrowed the idea.
The hexagon is the most efficient shape in nature: it packs the highest area with the least perimeter, distributes load evenly in every direction, and resists deformation under compression far better than any square or triangular cell geometry. Honeycomb core applies these principles directly to large-span facade panels. Where a standard foam core of equivalent thickness would deflect under wind loading or puncture under point impact, honeycomb holds. The result is a panel that can span greater distances between fixings, carry higher cladding loads, and maintain a perfectly flat face across wide architectural elevations. For designers working on statement facades, airport terminals, or exhibition buildings, Honeycomb is the only core that keeps both the structural engineer and the architect satisfied.
Superior strength-to-weight
Higher load resistance per kilogram than any foam core alternative
Large-span capability
Wider fixing centres possible, reducing structural subframe costs
Architecturally flat
Resists oil-canning and thermal bowing across wide facade panels
