Product overview

Insulated piping made from rigid PIR foam

Royal Pipe is an insulated piping solution made from rigid PIR (Polyisocyanurate) foam with high thermal resistance, a lightweight design, and an eco-friendly formulation. It ensures energy efficiency, fire safety, and long-lasting durability for industrial and commercial piping systems.

Designed for HVAC chilled and hot water systems, industrial pipelines carrying steam, gas, or process fluids, oil and gas infrastructure, and underground or above-ground insulated piping installations. Royal Pipe offers excellent thermal insulation (λ 0.019 W/mK), a closed-cell structure that minimises moisture absorption, and customisable density to match different pressure and temperature requirements.

Applications

  • HVAC chilled & hot water systems
  • Industrial pipelines (steam, gas, process fluids)
  • Oil & gas infrastructure
  • Underground or above-ground insulated piping

Joint configurations

Available in three joint types

Every Royal Pipe system is supplied in your choice of joint configuration to suit the pipe diameter and installation method.

Sectional Joint

Two-piece sectional design that wraps around existing pipework for fast retrofit installation, with an interlocking seam for a secure, sealed fit.

Tongue and Groove

Precision tongue-and-groove profile for a superior vapour seal — ideal where condensation control and thermal continuity are critical.

Z-Joint

Z-shaped overlapping joint that maximises thermal-bridge prevention along the pipe run — the premium choice for demanding applications.

Key features

Built for performance and longevity

Strong and lightweight

Withstands high pressure while remaining easy to handle and install on site.

Thermal insulation

Maintains consistent temperature in HVAC and industrial piping with λ 0.019 W/mK performance — keeping cold lines cold and hot lines hot.

Three joint options

Tongue-and-Groove, Z-Joint, and Sectional types available to suit any pipe diameter and installation scenario.

Closed-cell structure

Minimises moisture absorption and thermal bridging for long-term reliability in wet or humid environments.

Fire safety

Rigid PIR formulation delivers dependable fire performance for building services and industrial pipelines.

Custom density

Adjustable density for different pressure and temperature applications. Blowing agent is CFC & HCFC free.
